Nothing like us geeks finally gettin’ some street cred. Finally. In March, none other than the MIT Sloan School of Management, which basically invented most of the modern business theories that pass for business scholarship in the country, is hosting a conference on no less than sports analytics. And true to MIT’s place in the world, the sports geek luminaries are coming up. Peter Moore, president of EA Sports will speak, Micheal Lewis who wrote Money Ball will show up. The elusive Mark Waller, cheif marketing officer of the NFL (who is now basically a media god right now) is also on the docket. How great is this going to be?
